We are a research group at the Department of Sustainable Fuels and Green Chemistry at the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague and UCT Technopark in Kralupy nad Vltavou. Our research topics are motivated by Green chemistry principles and environmental sustainability. Catalyst design, synthesis and characterization coupled with testing in chemical reactions are our main directions.

- Deoxygenation of phenolics, triglycerides and aldol condensation products
Valorization of biomass-derived compounds
- Hydrogenation / deoxygenation of phenolic compounds
- Aldol condensation of furfural with ketones
- Selective hydrogenation / deoxygenation of aldol condensation products
- Hydrotreatment of bio-oils and waste triglyceride
