UCT Catalytic Fall 2026

The GreenCats research group regularly invites highly respected speakers to UCT. This year, in collaboration with the Department of Organic Technology, we are excited to introduce 3rd series of UCT Catalytic Fall 2026. We want to kick out the new academic semester and boost student's motivation by interacting with great speakers. Each year, this seminar will focus on a different topic. This year's theme is:

In 2025, we focused on Characterization of heterogeneous catalysts, and invited Valentina Crocellà (Università di Torino) and Magnus Rønning (Norwegian University of Science and Technology).

In 2024, we focused on Principles of the preparation of heterogeneous catalysts, and invited Krijn de Jong (Utrecht University) and Gonzalo Prieto (ITQ, Valencia).
