Beyond the talks, the conference offered inspiring moments: a standout panel with Paul Anastas (“father of green chemistry”), Omar Yaghi (Nobel Laureate in Chemistry 2025), and Mary Garson AM FAA (IUPAC President), alongside rich discussions on pedagogical tools for teaching green chemistry.

And of course, the Portuguese food was as vibrant and memorable as the science.
