New research project POLYVALUE

We are pleased ro announce that we received funding for the new Czech–Polish bilateral research project POLYVALUE!

The project, Catalytically-Controlled Valorization of Synthetic and Natural POLYmer Waste Streams towards Added VALUE Molecules (POLYVALUE), will be carried out in collaboration with Lodz University of Technology in Poland, led by Prof. Agnieszka Ruppert. It will run for three years, starting on 1 January 2027.

POLYVALUE will address two major polymer-waste challenges: lignin and PET. GreenCats will focus on the catalytic depolymerization and upgrading of lignin , while our Polish partners will investigate the catalytic depolymerization of PET.

We look forward to contributing our expertise in lignin valorization and to this exciting collaboration!
